Jay Timms, BMT, MA, CCC, is a family man, relationship and family counselor, internationally known keynote and seminar speaker, and consultant to individuals and organizations looking to increase their productivity. The essence of his message is, "It is all about the relationship."
His book, How to Raise a Teenager Without Using Duct Tape, discusses the relationship between fathers and teenage children.
Timms has worked with school districts throughout British Columbia, Canada, and for the Province of British Columbia as a Consultant to Child Welfare with The Ministry of Children and Family Development and is sensitive to much of the challenge facing youth and teens. A husband, father, and former business executive, Timms also understands the often desperately sought after balance that eludes individuals who can't seem to get out of a rut.
Timms' down time is spent skiing, snowboarding, traveling, and being with his wife and two children.
